Our little dear Ukkie getting babies?
I was never really sure about that, especially because she is a really petite
dwarf girl, and finding a suitable male seemed quite impossible.
Of course it wasn't impossible; we haven't looked good enough!
Already well-known Jan-Julius would be the perfect daddy of the puppies,
as his
babies are often small (take a look at our Jan-Julian for example, but also his
son, Cleopatra's father), and passes on a great personality.
When we would mix this with our Ukkie, we could get pretty, small puppies with
great personality, traits we have already seen in puppies of Jan-Julius and one
of our girls.
This made us decide on having Ukkie and Jan-Julius meet and mate,
and to see what great babies Ukkie will bring forth.
Ukkie Ukkepuk has been mated on October 24, 2008, and we are proud to say
we
have chosen for Jan-Julian van de Gorsselse Heide.
We look forward with great
expectations to December 26, 2008, as she might deliver then.
