If we look back at Ukkies first litter in 2008, we can see that
those puppies have become healthy, happy, loving and beautiful dogs.
It was a real hard decision to let Ukkie be a mommy, but we certainly have no regrets.
The babies were really great but also Ukkie took her mother role with great pride.
She was so very sweet and loving to her puppies.
This time we decided that Jan-Julian van de Gorsselse may be the daddy of Ukkie's babies.Jan-Julian is a very sweet little man, and almost always happy.
Jan-Julian is a little Kaninchen like last time (when Jan-Julian's grandfather,
Jan-Julius was the daddy) and so we hope for pretty, small but most of all healthy puppies.
Last time Ukkie's babies were born around Christmas and this time she and
her offspring will enjoy the sun and enjoy the outdoor life.
Of course we have looked at the calendar when the end of Ukkie's expected
gestation of 63 days will be. That date is June 13, 2010.
Full of expectation we therefore wait until the due date so we can then announce that
Dutch Dapples Ukkie Ukkepuk and Jan-Julian van de Gorsselse
have become proud parents!
